Jaimeé Arroyo, Family Nurse Practitioner-BC

Jaimeé is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She attended Black Hawk Community College and received an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (RN). After seven years of hospital experience in the critical care unit, medical-surgical unit and emergency room, she sought further education. She finished her Bachelor's degree from Cumberland Online University and received her Master of Science in Nursing from Tennessee State University.

Jaimeé is married with five children. She and her husband serve with the non-profit organization, Global Outreach Developments Int'l, in Nashville and Latin America.

Darby Sangrey, Family Nurse Practitioner-BC

Darby is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her nursing education from Vanderbilt University. Darby found a passion for healthcare as preventative medicine while working in the hospital and primary care settings. She is passionate about equipping patients to actively participate in their health, and providing holistic care that is high-quality and equitable. Additionally, she graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor degree in Spanish, which allows her to serve Spanish-speaking populations as well.

Darby and her husband, while originally from Atlanta, GA, claim Nashville as home and are involved in several causes locally.  


Stefanie Floyd, Family Nurse Practitioner-BC

Stefanie is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her BSN from Miami University. After over 15 years of nursing in critical care and surgical recovery, she decided she wanted to practice preventative health through primary care. She then obtained her MSN at Walden University.  

Stefanie resides in Nolensville, TN with her husband, two children, and three dogs.  She enjoys spending time with her family and gardening.


KAYLA SANGREY, Family Nurse Practitioner-BC

Kayla is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her BSN from Berry College while competing at the collegiate level for softball. She then went on to obtain her MSN from Vanderbilt University. Kayla found her passion for preventative and integrative medicine through her own health journey.

While originally from Atlanta, GA, she claims Nashville as home. When she isn’t working, she enjoys going to CrossFit, being outdoors, and serving in her church’s children’s ministry.


Jordan Miller, FNP-BC

Jordan Miller is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Jordan has been working with Hopewell Family Care since 2014, where she began as a medical assistant before moving on to earn both her BSN and MSN from Union University. After obtaining her RN license she worked as a pediatric emergency nurse at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. Jordan is very excited to be back at Hopewell Family Care. 

In addition to caring for individuals and their families here at HFC, Jordan volunteers with Global Outreach Developments Int’l in East Africa. She has Bachelor degrees in Community Development and Biblical Studies and is pursuing a Master in Missiology, Global Nursing and Public Health. 


Jennifer Sheffield, MD

Dr. Jennifer Sheffield, MD specializes in Family Medicine and has been practicing for over 14 years.  She graduated from the American University of the Caribbean in 2006 and completed Family Medicine Residency at the University of North Dakota Center for Family Medicine in Bismarck, ND in 2012. Before joining our team she spent much of her time practicing medicine up North in rural areas both in the clinical and hospital settings.  Integrative Medicine isn’t new to Dr. Sheffield as her family implemented many alternative therapies growing up.  The events of 2020 reignited a passion in her to incorporate more integrative treatments and therapies into her care for her patients.

Dr. Sheffield loves serving on the mission field and has done so for over 2 decades.  While not working, she enjoys taking walks with her dog, traveling and visiting with family & friends.


Amanda Aaseby, Office Manager

Amanda graduated from Aquinas College in 2007. She worked as an ER nurse for almost 10 years at Southern Hills Medical Center and Summit Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She also served as a school nurse at the Academy for G.O.D. in Old Hickory, TN before joining the team at Hopewell in 2018.

Amanda is married with six children. She and her husband serve with the non-profit organization, Global Outreach Developments Int'l, in Nashville and East Africa.

Emily Galford, Referral Nurse

Emily graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2006 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Minor in Business Administration. After graduating, she worked as a public health and research nurse at Vanderbilt Medical Center. In addition to nursing Emily became a certified lactation specialist in 2009.

Emily is married with four children. She and her husband serve with the non-profit organization, Global Outreach Developments Int'l, in Nashville and East Africa.

Nick Moore, Lead Medical Assistant

Nick received his EMT-IV license from Columbia State Community College in 2012. He has studied Primary Healthcare at the Institute for Global Outreach Developments Int’l and is trained as a Medical Assistant. Nick has worked with doctors in Uganda, India and Nepal. He started working at Hopewell Family Care in January of 2016.

Nick is passionate about empowering people to live healthy and whole lives both here and abroad. He and his wife have two sons, and serve with Global Outreach Developments Int’l to help empower the people of East Africa.

Julie Carpenter, IV Therapist

Julie is a 2010 graduate from the Institute for Global Outreach Developments Int'l, with a Bachelor Degree in Community Development and a Certification in Childbirth Education. She received her license in Practical Nursing from Tennessee Technology Center in 2012. She is a certified IV therapist and vaginal steam counselor. She has worked as an LPN with our office since 2016, and as an IV therapist since 2018.

She and her husband have three children, and also serve with the non-profit organization, Global Outreach Developments International, with which they assist in endeavors in Nashville and the Philippines.
